The Murcielago was Lamborghini first product after Audi (VW Group) acquisition in 1998, with significantly more engineering investment than previous Lamborghini products. The 6.2L (later 6.5L) V12 makes 580-661 horsepower. The Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce (SV) is the focused performance variant making 661 horsepower. The Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster is the convertible variant. Various special editions added focused performance. Modern Murcielago prices have appreciated.
