7H Ventures LLC ("we", "our") operates WhipJury. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Account information: email address, username, display name, and avatar when you register. Content you submit: images, ratings, comments, votes, and other contributions. Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information, IP address. Cookies: session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for site functionality.
How We Use Your Information
To operate and improve WhipJury. To authenticate your identity and maintain your account. To display your public content (submissions, ratings, comments). To prevent abuse and enforce our terms. To send transactional emails (password resets, account notifications). To send newsletter and marketing emails to subscribers (you may opt out at any time).
Newsletter
During registration (including sign-ups via Google, Facebook, or Apple), you are shown a "Subscribe to newsletter updates" checkbox. This checkbox is pre-checked for convenience but you may uncheck it to decline newsletter emails before creating your account. If you leave it checked, we will send you periodic newsletter and marketing emails. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or by toggling the newsletter setting in Account Settings. Transactional emails (password resets, account notifications) are not affected by this preference.
Data Sharing
We may share data with: service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics); law enforcement when required by law; a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected] or using the data deletion option in your account settings.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may opt out of newsletter and marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or your Account Settings. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
WhipJury is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
