WhipJury (whipjury.com) is a community-driven platform where users rate vehicles on a 1–10 scale, compete in head-to-head faceoffs, and participate in tournaments. This page explains the nature of those ratings and the limits of what they represent.

1. Ratings Are Community Opinion, Not Professional Appraisal

All ratings, scores, and rankings on WhipJury reflect the collective votes of registered users at a given point in time. They are crowdsourced opinions. They are not the result of professional vehicle appraisals, mechanical inspections, or any other independent evaluation. They should not be treated as objective measures of a vehicle's quality, value, or condition.

WhipJury makes no claim that any vehicle is better or worse than any other. Those determinations come from users, not from us.

2. Whip Scores and Elo Ratings

The "Whip Score" displayed on the platform is calculated using an Elo-based rating system derived from faceoff results. It reflects competitive performance within the platform, not any real-world measure of a vehicle's worth. These scores fluctuate as new faceoffs occur and should not be relied upon for any purpose outside of WhipJury.

3. Not a Basis for Purchase or Valuation Decisions

WhipJury ratings are not intended to be used as the basis for any purchase, sale, insurance, or valuation decision regarding a vehicle. If you are making a decision that depends on the condition, value, or quality of a vehicle, we encourage you to consult qualified professionals and conduct your own research.

4. Ratings May Change Over Time

Vote tallies, average ratings, and Whip Scores change as new votes and faceoff results come in. A rating shown today may differ from what was shown last week or last month. Do not rely on WhipJury ratings as a permanent or static record of any vehicle's standing.

5. User-Generated Content

Photos, comments, and submissions on WhipJury are created by users, not by WhipJury staff. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of user-submitted content. We moderate in good faith but cannot review every post. If you see content that violates our Community Guidelines, please report it.

6. Vehicle Photos

Photos uploaded to WhipJury are provided by users. We do not verify ownership of the vehicles shown. The appearance of a vehicle on WhipJury does not imply that it is for sale, that the uploader owns it, or that the vehicle is in the condition depicted. Photos may be edited, filtered, or otherwise altered by the uploader.

7. No Warranty

WhipJury is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any rating, score, or content on the platform. Use it at your own discretion.
