The Lamborghini Huracan is a mid-engine supercar produced from 2014 to 2024, replacing the Gallardo. The Huracan became Lamborghini's most-produced model ever, with over 21,000 units produced across the production run. The car uses the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine family as the Gallardo and the Audi R8 (sister car). The Huracan generations and variants: Huracan LP 610-4 (2014-2019, base), Huracan LP 580-2 (2016-2019, RWD variant), Huracan Performante (2017-2019, focused performance), Huracan Evo (2019-2023), Huracan Evo Spyder, Huracan Evo RWD, Huracan STO (2020-2023, focused track variant), Huracan Tecnica (2022-2023), and Huracan Sterrato (2023, off-road inspired variant). The Huracan Performante (2017-2019) was the most aggressive Huracan. ALA active aerodynamics system, lightweight construction, and tuned 5.2 V10 making 631 horsepower. Set Nürburgring lap records that broke production car records at the time. The Performante represented Lamborghini engineering ambition at peak. The Huracan STO (2020-2023) was the focused track variant. Ultra-light weight, aggressive aerodynamics, and tuned chassis. The Huracan Sterrato (2023) was the off-road inspired variant; the Huracan Tecnica (2022-2023) was the focused road-track variant. Production ended in 2024. The Huracan has been replaced by the new Temerario (hybrid V8 with electric motors). The Huracan represents the end of the naturally aspirated V10 era at Lamborghini. On WhipJury, Huracan submissions are common, particularly Performante and Evo variants. Stock examples and modified builds appear regularly. The community recognizes the Huracan as the most accessible modern Lamborghini.
