WhipJury works because people rate honestly and talk to each other like adults. These guidelines are not complicated. Here is what we expect.

Rate the Car, Not the Person

  • Rate each submission based on the vehicle itself, not on who posted it.

  • If you have personal feelings about the owner, set that aside and evaluate the car.

  • The whole point of WhipJury is to build honest, crowdsourced ratings. Gaming votes defeats the purpose for everyone, including you.

No Rating Manipulation

  • One account per person. Period.

  • Do not coordinate with others to push ratings in a specific direction on any submission.

  • Do not use bots, scripts, or any automation to rate or vote.

  • Do not create faceoffs solely to farm wins for your own submissions.

  • If you are caught doing any of the above, your accounts will be banned.

Keep Comments Civil

  • Talk about the car, not the person who posted it.

  • Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks are not.

  • No hate speech, slurs, or threats of any kind.

  • No harassment of other users, on or off the platform.

No Spam or Self-Promotion

  • Do not submit the same vehicle repeatedly.

  • Do not post the same comment or link over and over.

  • Do not use WhipJury primarily as a marketplace or advertising platform.

Keep It About Cars

  • Only upload photos of vehicles. No memes, screenshots, or unrelated images.

  • Do not upload photos containing nudity, graphic violence, or illegal activity.

  • Do not post content that is clearly off-topic or intended to troll.

Protect People's Privacy

  • Do not post personal information about other users or private individuals. This includes addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, and anything else that could be used to identify or harm someone.

  • If a license plate is visible in your photo, that is your call. Do not post other people's plate numbers with identifying context.

Report Violations

  • If you see something that breaks these guidelines, use the report button. We review reports and take action.

  • Do not respond to bad behavior by breaking the rules yourself. Report it and move on.

Consequences

  • Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, a temporary mute, or a permanent ban.

  • Moderators use their judgment. Not every situation fits neatly into a rule.
