Chevrolet Equinox EV: Affordable Electric for the Masses
The Equinox EV is Chevrolet's value-focused electric SUV, built to bring long range and modern tech to the mainstream at an accessible price.
Launched for 2024, the Equinox EV is central to Chevrolet's strategy of making electric vehicles attainable. Built on GM's Ultium platform, it is a compact electric SUV positioned as one of the more affordable long-range EVs on the market, distinct from the gas-powered Equinox.
Chevrolet emphasises a competitive starting price alongside an EPA-estimated range that reaches well over 300 miles in front-wheel-drive form, a combination meant to ease the cost and range concerns that keep many buyers from going electric. All-wheel drive is available for added traction.
The cabin features a wide integrated display, and the Equinox EV supports DC fast charging and the NACS standard for Tesla Supercharger access. It competes directly with other mainstream compact electric SUVs while undercutting many on price.
