McLaren
McLaren's hybrid hypercar (2013-2015). Twin-turbo V8 plus electric motor making 903 horsepower. Limited 375-car production.
The McLaren P1 is a hybrid hypercar produced from 2013 to 2015. The P1 was McLaren first hybrid road car and one of the holy trinity of hybrid hypercars (alongside LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder). The car uses M838TQ 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 plus electric motor for combined 903 horsepower. Production was limited to 375 cars globally. The P1 has been continuously celebrated as one of the most aggressive modern supercars. Active aerodynamics, IPAS (Instant Power Assist System) electric boost, and McLaren motorsport-derived chassis dynamics produce extraordinary capability. 0-60 in around 2.7 seconds, top speed 217 mph (electronically limited). The P1 GTR (track-only variant) and P1 LM (road-legal variant of the GTR) provided focused track-focused alternatives. The P1 LM is one of only 5 cars produced. On WhipJury, P1 submissions are extremely rare but reliably top voting when they appear.
