BMW
The grand-touring M car. V10 in the E63, twin-turbo V8 in the F13. Big, fast, and luxurious.
The BMW M6 is the high-performance grand tourer based on the 6 Series. The E63/E64 M6 (2005-2010) shared the S85 5.0 liter V10 with the E60 M5, making around 500 horsepower with a 8,250 rpm redline. The F06/F12/F13 M6 (2012-2018) switched to the S63 twin-turbo V8 with around 560 to 600 horsepower in Competition form. The M6 has always been the more luxurious, GT-oriented M car, offered as a coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe. It trades some of the M5 practicality for sleeker styling. On WhipJury, M6 submissions are rarer than M5s but stand out for the V10 soundtrack and the muscular twin-turbo V8 cars.
E63/E64 (2005-2010). S85 V10, SMG transmission, a high-revving GT.
F06/F12/F13 (2012-2018). S63 twin-turbo V8, available as coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe.
A rarer M car here, valued for the V10 era and the fast, comfortable twin-turbo cars.
