BMW
The 3 Series coupe, spun off as its own line. The 440i and M440i bring the B58 six.
The BMW 4 Series is the coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe counterpart to the 3 Series sedan, split into its own line in 2014. It shares engines and platform with the 3 Series but adds sleeker two-door bodywork. The 440i and current M440i use the B58 turbo inline six for strong performance. The current generation (G22) is known for its large vertical kidney grille, a polarizing design choice. Beneath it, the 4 Series remains a capable rear-drive (or xDrive) sport coupe, with the M4 as the high-performance flagship. On WhipJury, 4 Series submissions favor the 435i, 440i, and M440i coupes.
F32 (2013-2020). The 435i and 440i with N55/B58 turbo sixes.
G22 (2020-present). Large-grille styling, the M440i a strong B58-powered all-rounder.
The 440i and M440i coupes are the enthusiast picks below the M4.
