The BMW 2 Series is the brand smallest coupe and, in many enthusiasts eyes, the spiritual heir to the classic small rear-drive BMW. The coupe (F22, G42) retains rear-wheel drive and offers the punchy M240i with the B58 turbo inline six, delivering genuine performance in a compact package. There is also a front-drive-based 2 Series Gran Coupe and Active Tourer, but the rear-drive coupe is the enthusiast car.
