Volkswagen CC: The Four-Door Coupe
The CC was a sleek four-door coupe version of the Passat, offering style and a frameless-window roofline at an accessible price.
Launched around 2008 as the Passat CC, later simplified to CC, this model brought four-door coupe style to Volkswagen's lineup. Its lower, sleeker roofline and frameless door windows gave it a more elegant, upscale look than the standard Passat on which it was based.
The CC offered turbocharged engines, available all-wheel drive, and a comfortable, well-equipped interior, appealing to buyers wanting style without a luxury-brand price. It blended everyday usability with head-turning design.
The CC was eventually replaced by the more upscale Arteon, but it pioneered the affordable four-door coupe concept in Volkswagen's range.
