Italian artisanal hypercars. Each Zonda or Huayra is hand-built, carbon-fiber-rich, and as much sculpture as transportation.
ExoticPagani is the artisanal Italian hypercar brand founded by Horacio Pagani in 1992. Pagani worked at Lamborghini before starting his own company specifically to build hypercars without compromise on materials, finish, or attention to detail. The brand specializes in hand-built carbon fiber bodywork, exposed mechanical components used as design elements, and bespoke specifications. The Zonda of 1999-2017 was the brand defining product. Mercedes-Benz AMG-supplied 7.3 liter V12 (later 7.0 liter Carbo Titanium variants), carbon fiber construction, gated manual transmission optional. Total Zonda production across all variants was around 140 cars over 18 years (extremely low volume). The Zonda C12, S, F, R (track only), Cinque, Tricolore, Revolución, and HH variants are all collector items today. The Huayra (2011-2024) replaced the Zonda. Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo 6.0 V12, carbon fiber construction, distinctive active aerodynamic flaps. The Huayra BC (limited-edition focused variant), Huayra Roadster, Huayra Imola (track-focused), and Huayra R (track-only) are the variants. The Utopia (2022-present) is the newest Pagani. Naturally aspirated AMG V12 (because Pagani believed customers wanted to keep the experience of a non-turbocharged engine), seven-speed manual transmission as standard (a bold choice in an era of dual-clutch hypercars), and the brand most refined construction yet. Each Pagani is hand-built and individually specified. Production volumes are small (typically under 100 cars per year across all models). The brand commands enormous prestige despite the low volumes precisely because of the artisanal construction and the relentless attention to detail. On WhipJury, Pagani submissions are essentially unicorns. When one appears, voters universally recognize the quality of the work and vote accordingly.
The Zonda used Mercedes-AMG-supplied V12s starting at 6.0 liters and growing to 7.3 liters across the run. The transmission was a six-speed manual (or later, optional automated manual). Bodywork was hand-laid carbon fiber. Production volumes were extremely low. The Zonda HH (one-off for music producer Hamilton Holmes), the Zonda Revolucion (track-only with 800 horsepower), and the Zonda Cinque (focused road variant) are the most exclusive Zondas.
The Huayra used a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 making 720 horsepower in standard trim. Active aerodynamic flaps on the body adjusted automatically based on speed and load. Construction was extensive carbon fiber and titanium. Production ended in 2024 with the Huayra Codalunga and other limited variants as final special editions.
Pagani submissions are extremely rare. The cars are produced in small numbers and nearly all owners keep them out of public view. When a Pagani appears on the platform, the voting is consistently strong. Most Pagani submissions are Huayras; Zondas and Utopias are even rarer.
