Nissan
The full-size body-on-frame SUV. VK56 V8, three rows, serious towing.
The Nissan Armada is the brand full-size, body-on-frame SUV, sharing its underpinnings with the global Nissan Patrol and the Infiniti QX80. Powered by the VK56 V8, it offers three rows of seating, strong towing capacity, and genuine capability in a large, comfortable package. The Armada targets buyers needing maximum space and towing without stepping up to a luxury badge. Recent versions added a twin-turbo V6 in some markets, but the V8 defined most of its run. It competes with the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition. On WhipJury, the Armada appears as a full-size family hauler.
