The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a flagship luxury sedan in continuous production since 1972 across multiple generations. The S-Class has been Mercedes-Benz technology showcase for decades, with the brand introducing many luxury and safety features (airbags, traction control, anti-lock brakes, adaptive cruise control) on the S-Class first. Modern S-Class generations include W221 (2005-2013), W222 (2013-2020), and current W223 (2021+).
