Jaguar
The original sport saloon (1959-1967). XK inline-six, 3.8 the quick one. A 1960s icon, on the road and in getaways.
The Jaguar Mark II is the car that defined the compact sport saloon. Launched in 1959 with the XK inline-six in 2.4, 3.4, and 3.8 liter forms, it combined elegant styling, a luxurious wood-and-leather cabin, and genuine pace. The 3.8 was one of the quickest saloons of its day, equally at home as an executive car, a touring racer, and, in popular legend, a getaway car. It is a defining 1960s British classic. On WhipJury, the Mark II appears as an elegant, characterful classic saloon.
