Infiniti
Skyline-based rear-drive sport sedan and coupe (2003-2007). VQ35DE 3.5 V6. The car that made Infiniti relevant to enthusiasts.
The Infiniti G35 is the car that turned Infiniti from a sleepy luxury badge into an enthusiast brand. Built on the Nissan FM platform shared with the Z, and closely related to the Japanese-market V35 Skyline, it paired rear-wheel drive with the VQ35DE 3.5 liter V6 making around 280 to 306 horsepower depending on year and body. Offered as a sedan and a coupe, the G35 undercut the BMW 3-Series on price while matching it for driving feel. It became a tuner favorite almost immediately, sharing engine and chassis hardware with the 350Z. On WhipJury, G35 coupe builds are common, often with bolt-ons, coilovers, and aggressive wheel fitment.
