Infiniti
Maxima-based front-drive luxury sedan (1996-2001). VQ30 V6. Infiniti early near-luxury entry.
The Infiniti I30 is a front-drive near-luxury sedan based on the Nissan Maxima, using the smooth VQ30 3.0 liter V6. It gave Infiniti a more affordable, comfort-oriented sedan beneath the rear-drive flagship models of the era. It was a refined, reliable everyday luxury car rather than a sport sedan. On WhipJury, the I30 appears occasionally as a clean, well-kept example of late-1990s Japanese near-luxury.
VQ30 3.0 liter V6, around 190 to 227 horsepower. Front-wheel drive. Automatic or available manual. Based on the Nissan Maxima.
