The Infiniti I30 is a front-drive near-luxury sedan based on the Nissan Maxima, using the smooth VQ30 3.0 liter V6. It gave Infiniti a more affordable, comfort-oriented sedan beneath the rear-drive flagship models of the era. It was a refined, reliable everyday luxury car rather than a sport sedan.
