Ferrari
Ferrari's hybrid hypercar (2013-2018). 6.3 V12 plus electric motor making 950 horsepower combined. Limited to 499 cars total globally.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is a hybrid hypercar produced from 2013 to 2018, replacing the Enzo as Ferrari halo car. The LaFerrari was Ferrari first hybrid road car, with the V12 engine paired with electric motor for combined 950 horsepower. Production was limited to 499 coupes plus 210 LaFerrari Aperta convertible variants. The LaFerrari uses Ferrari F140FE 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 plus the HY-KERS electric motor system (derived from Formula 1 hybrid technology). The combination produces 950 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 664 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 in around 2.4 seconds, top speed over 217 mph. The LaFerrari was part of the holy trinity of hybrid hypercars (LaFerrari, McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder), all launched within months of each other. Each represents the marker manufacturer interpretation of hybrid hypercar performance. The LaFerrari has become a recognized blue-chip collector car. On WhipJury, LaFerrari submissions are extremely rare but always memorable.
