The Ferrari Enzo is a hypercar produced from 2002 to 2004. The Enzo was Ferrari halo car of the era, named after the company founder Enzo Ferrari. The car used the F140 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 making 651 horsepower at 7,800 rpm. Production was limited to 400 cars globally. The Enzo featured Formula 1-derived technology including carbon-ceramic brakes, paddle-shift transmission, and aerodynamic design. The car was designed by Ken Okuyama at Pininfarina. The Enzo influenced subsequent Ferrari halo cars including the LaFerrari. The Enzo has been continuously celebrated as one of the great Ferrari halo cars. Used prices have appreciated significantly; clean examples now sell for $3-5 million+ at auction. On WhipJury, Enzo submissions are extremely rare. When they appear, they reliably top voting on cultural significance alone.
