Lincoln Mark VII: The Aero Luxury Coupe
The Mark VII was a sleeker, more modern personal luxury coupe that brought aerodynamic styling and even performance to the Mark line.
Produced from 1984 to 1992, the Mark VII represented a major shift for the Mark series, adopting sleek, aerodynamic styling and flush composite headlights, a contrast to the formal boxes that preceded it. It rode on the Fox platform shared with the Thunderbird and Mustang.
Notably, the Mark VII LSC (Luxury Sport Coupe) added a performance focus with the Mustang's 5.0-liter V8, sport suspension, and a driver-oriented setup, making it a genuinely sporty luxury coupe. Air suspension was a standard feature.
The Mark VII modernized the personal luxury coupe and, in LSC form, gave it real driving credentials, earning a following among enthusiasts.
