Leapmotor C10: Global Midsize SUV in EV and EREV
The Leapmotor C10 is a midsize SUV offered in both pure battery-electric and extended-range electric forms, and it is one of the first Leapmotor models sold internationally through Stellantis.
The C10 sits at the heart of Leapmotor's international ambitions. It is a five-seat midsize SUV with clean, modern styling and a cabin built around a large central touchscreen and a minimalist dashboard. The battery-electric version uses a rear-mounted motor producing around 160 kW, with a usable battery pack in the 70 kWh range delivering an estimated WLTP range of approximately 420 km. DC fast charging supports up to 80 kW, allowing a meaningful charge in under an hour.
The EREV variant adds a small 1.5-litre petrol generator that never drives the wheels but can extend total range well beyond 1,000 km on a full tank and full charge. This makes the EREV C10 practical for buyers without easy home charging or for those who take longer road trips. Both versions share the same electric drivetrain architecture and the same interior layout, with over-the-air software updates, a panoramic roof, and Leapmotor's intelligent driver-assistance systems included at no extra cost in most trim levels.
When Leapmotor International launched in Europe in late 2024, the C10 was one of just two debut models alongside the T03. It competes in a crowded midsize electric SUV segment against vehicles from Volkswagen, Kia, and fellow Chinese brands, but undercuts most on price while matching or exceeding them on interior technology. The Stellantis distribution network means buyers can access service and parts through established dealerships rather than a new standalone network.
