Leapmotor B10: Smart Compact SUV at a Low Price
The Leapmotor B10 is a compact battery-electric SUV aimed at mainstream global buyers, pairing smart-tech features with the brand's signature value pricing.
The B10 represents Leapmotor's attempt to establish a volume seller in the compact crossover class, a segment that dominates European and Chinese car markets alike. It is smaller than the C10 and designed with an emphasis on in-cabin technology and connected-car features, targeting younger buyers who prioritise software and smartphone integration alongside practicality. The B10 is purely battery-electric with no EREV option, reflecting Leapmotor's focus on making a clean single-powertrain product for markets where charging infrastructure is improving rapidly.
Specific range and power figures were still being confirmed at the time of launch preparation, but Leapmotor positioned the B10 to offer competitive range in the 350 to 400 km WLTP range class from a battery of around 60 kWh. The cabin follows Leapmotor's established approach of a large central screen, minimal physical buttons, over-the-air update capability, and a suite of driver-assistance systems included as standard rather than as paid options. Build quality targets are set to meet European consumer expectations following lessons learned from the C10 and T03 launches.
The B10 is built to be distributed through Leapmotor International and the Stellantis dealer network, giving it the same after-sales infrastructure advantage as its siblings. Its price positioning aims to sit below most comparable compact electric SUVs from European and Korean brands, continuing Leapmotor's strategy of winning customers through value rather than brand recognition. If the B10 replicates the domestic success Leapmotor found with the C11, it could become a key volume driver for the brand's international expansion.
