Genesis
Genesis sport sedan (2018+). 252 or 365 horsepower options. Same platform as Kia Stinger. Manual transmission available 2019-2021.
The Genesis G70 is a compact sport sedan produced from 2018+. The G70 was Genesis first sport sedan and one of the most acclaimed luxury sedans in the segment. The car shares platform with the Kia Stinger but with Genesis-specific tuning, more luxurious interior, and unique styling. Available with 2.0L turbo four-cylinder (252 horsepower) or 3.3L twin-turbo V6 (365 horsepower). The G70 won numerous comparison tests against the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, and Mercedes C-Class. Critics praised the chassis dynamics, interior quality (at or near class leaders), and value (significantly cheaper than German competitors). Manual transmission was available 2019-2021 model years on V6 RWD examples; this configuration is now rare and increasingly collectible. The Genesis brand has continued expanding with the G80, G90, GV70, GV80, and GV60 EV models. The G70 remains in production with periodic refreshes. On WhipJury, G70 submissions are common, particularly 3.3T GT and rare manual transmission examples.
