Toyota
The rear-drive luxury sedan with the 7M and JZ inline sixes. A sleeper and swap favorite.
The Toyota Cressida is a rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan sold in North America through the 1980s and early 1990s, the export version of the Japanese Mark II. With inline-six power (including the 7M-GE and later JZ-family engines in related cars) and a comfortable, well-built interior, it offered understated luxury. For enthusiasts, the Cressida rear-drive platform and inline-six engines make it a popular sleeper and engine-swap base, sharing much with the Supra and Mark II family. Its combination of comfort, durability, and tuning potential earned it a cult following. On WhipJury, Cressida submissions favor clean originals and JZ-swapped builds.
