The Ram 1500 REV is the brand's first fully electric pickup, built to compete in the rapidly growing electric truck segment. It is engineered to deliver the towing, payload and capability expected of a full-size Ram while running purely on battery power.
Ram has emphasised competitive range as a priority, offering large battery options aimed at easing the range concerns central to truck buyers, along with a powerful dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The truck also features a roomy, tech-rich cabin in keeping with Ram's reputation for interior comfort.
Alongside the pure-electric 1500 REV, Ram developed the Ramcharger, a range-extended version that uses a gas engine as an onboard generator to address long-distance and towing anxiety. Together they give Ram a two-pronged approach to electrifying its best-selling pickup, competing with the Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet Silverado EV and others.
