Ram SRT-10: The Viper-Powered Muscle Truck
The Ram SRT-10 was an outrageous performance pickup powered by the Dodge Viper's V10 engine, once the fastest production truck in the world.
Produced from 2004 to 2006, the Ram SRT-10 (then a Dodge) crammed the 8.3-liter V10 from the Viper sports car into a full-size pickup. Producing around 500 horsepower, it turned the truck into a tire-shredding muscle machine and earned a Guinness World Record as the fastest production pickup.
It featured a lowered, sport-tuned suspension, unique styling, and a six-speed manual in the regular cab version, an extraordinary combination for a pickup. A Quad Cab version with an automatic was also offered.
The SRT-10 remains a cult icon of excess, a reminder of an era when manufacturers built wild halo trucks purely for performance bragging rights.
