The Land Rover LR2 is the North American name for the second-generation Freelander (2008-2015), the brand compact crossover of the era. It offered inline-six and later four-cylinder power, all-wheel drive, and Land Rover Terrain Response, giving it more off-road ability than most compact crossovers while remaining family-friendly. It was succeeded by the Discovery Sport. On WhipJury, the LR2 appears as a capable, affordable compact Land Rover.
