The DS 3 is DS Automobiles's smallest offering, a premium subcompact crossover that packs boutique detailing into a city-friendly footprint.
The DS 3 is sold as a small crossover, often badged DS 3 Crossback, and serves as the brand's entry point into premium ownership. Despite its compact size, it carries the same watch-and-fashion-inspired interior language found throughout the DS range, with diamond-quilted leather options, pearl-effect stitching, and a rotary gear selector styled to feel more like a piece of jewelry than a typical shifter.
Buyers can choose from efficient gasoline engines or the fully electric E-Tense variant, which gives the DS 3 a genuine zero-emission option in the premium subcompact segment. The electric version shares its underpinnings with other small Stellantis EVs but wears distinct DS styling and trim, positioning it against premium electric city cars from rival luxury brands.
As the smallest model in the lineup, the DS 3 plays an important role in introducing new customers to the DS ownership experience, offering the design flourishes and craftsmanship of the larger DS 7 and DS 9 in a size suited to tight urban streets and first-time luxury buyers.
