Citroen Berlingo

Introduced in 1996, the Berlingo was built around a simple mission, maximize usable interior space in a compact, easy-to-park footprint. Its van version quickly became a favorite among tradespeople across Europe thanks to its low load floor, boxy cargo area, and durable, easy-to-maintain mechanicals.

Alongside the commercial van, Citroen offered the Berlingo Multispace, a passenger version aimed at families who valued its cavernous interior, sliding rear doors, and flexible seating over the styling of a conventional minivan or SUV. Its upright shape and tall roofline made it unusually practical for its size, able to swallow bulky cargo or car seats with ease.

Now in its third generation, the Berlingo remains one of Citroen's most enduring nameplates, continuing to be sold as both a workhorse van and a family-friendly passenger vehicle, including electric versions that extend its practicality into zero-emission city and light commercial use.
