Aston Martin DB9: The Modern Grand Tourer Icon
The DB9 was Aston Martin's flagship V12 grand tourer of the 2000s, pairing stunning looks with effortless performance on the brand's new bonded-aluminum platform.
Introduced in 2004, the DB9 replaced the DB7 and launched Aston's advanced VH bonded-aluminum architecture. Powered by a 5.9-liter V12, it delivered around 450 to 510 horsepower over its long life, combining grand touring comfort with genuine sporting ability.
The DB9's elegant, perfectly proportioned design aged gracefully, remaining desirable throughout its production run. It was offered as both a coupe and a Volante convertible, with the cabin trimmed in fine leather and wood.
Produced until 2016, the DB9 became one of Aston's defining modern models, the embodiment of the brand's grand touring philosophy and a frequent star of film and culture.
