The Rapide was Aston Martin's elegant four-door sports saloon, bringing V12 grand touring to a practical body with rear seats.
Launched in 2010, the Rapide answered demand for a more practical Aston that kept the brand's signature beauty and performance. Built on the VH platform and powered by the 6.0-liter V12, it offered four doors and four seats without sacrificing the proportions that make Astons so desirable.
The Rapide combined genuine grand touring pace with everyday usability, and the later Rapide S increased power to over 550 horsepower. An all-electric version, the Rapide E, was also explored in very limited numbers.
