Acura
Entry-level compact sedan (2013-2022). Civic-based. The A-Spec is the sporty trim.
The Acura ILX was the brand entry-level compact sedan, based on the Honda Civic. It offered a premium take on the Civic with a more upscale interior, and the later cars used a 2.4 liter four with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It was a sensible entry point to the brand rather than an enthusiast car, though the A-Spec trim added sportier styling. On WhipJury, the ILX appears as an affordable, reliable compact luxury sedan.
2.0 or 2.4 liter four (around 150 to 201 horsepower). Front-wheel drive. Automatic or 8-speed dual-clutch on later 2.4 cars. Based on the Honda Civic.
