Stancenation is an annual stance car event series founded in 2010 by Elvis Skender. The events are the largest stance-focused car gatherings in North America, with multiple regional events held annually across the US, Japan, Europe, and other global locations. The flagship Stancenation Japan event in Yokohama is the largest single stance car event in the world.
Stancenation events feature thousands of cars from the global stance, hellaflush, JDM, and tuner communities. The events typically include vendor displays, performances by tuner shops, judged competitions for various stance categories (street, show, etc.), and cultural exchange between international stance communities. The events have become significant cultural touchpoints in the modern tuner scene.
The Stancenation aesthetic has heavily influenced modern stance culture. Cars judged successfully at Stancenation events tend to define the look that other builders aspire to. The combination of low ride height (often air ride for daily driveability), aggressive wheel fitment, and clean detailing has become the standard for modern stance builds.
