Saab 9-4X: The Crossover SUV
The 9-4X was Saab's compact crossover SUV, a late-arriving model that was cut short by the brand's bankruptcy.
Produced briefly in 2011, the 9-4X was Saab's crossover SUV, sharing its platform with the Cadillac SRX from the GM era. It offered Saab styling, a premium interior, V6 power, and available all-wheel drive in the compact luxury crossover segment.
Unfortunately, the 9-4X arrived just as Saab was collapsing, and only a small number were built before the brand's bankruptcy ended production. This makes it one of the rarest modern Saabs.
The 9-4X represents what might have been for Saab in the SUV market, a capable, premium crossover whose promise was cut short by the brand's demise.
