Ford
The best-selling vehicle in America for over four decades. Multiple generations of half-ton pickup. Raptor, Lightning, and Tremor variants.
The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in America since 1981, with the F-Series broadly being the best-selling truck since 1977. The half-ton F-150 is the volume seller of the F-Series and one of the most consequential vehicles in modern automotive history. The current 14th generation (2021+) continues the lineage with hybrid PowerBoost, EcoBoost V6, and 5.0 V8 powertrain options. The Raptor variant has redefined the high-speed off-road truck since 2010. Fox Racing internal bypass shocks, off-road tires, increased wheelbase, and aggressive aero. The current Raptor R uses a supercharged 5.2 V8 (the Predator engine from the Mustang GT500) making 720 horsepower. The Lightning EV variant (2022+) brings electric powertrain to the F-150 platform. On WhipJury, F-150 submissions are highly active across multiple generations. Raptor variants reliably top voting; lifted F-150s with off-road builds are common; modified Lightning EVs are increasingly visible.
