Ford
Ford's off-road SUV. The 2021+ revival brought back the iconic boxy design. Raptor variant for high-speed off-road, Wildtrak for daily off-road.
The Ford Bronco was originally produced from 1965 to 1996 and revived in 2021 after a 25-year hiatus. The original Bronco was Ford answer to the Jeep CJ, with serious off-road capability and rugged styling. The 2021+ Bronco continues that legacy with two-door and four-door body styles, removable doors and roof, and genuine off-road capability. The Bronco competes directly with the Jeep Wrangler in the off-road SUV segment. The Bronco offers turbocharged 2.3 four-cylinder, twin-turbo 2.7 V6, or supercharged 5.0 V8 engines (Bronco Raptor). Manual transmission availability differentiates the Bronco from competitors. Off-road capability includes locking differentials, removable sway bars, and various other off-road accessories. The Bronco Raptor (2022+) is the high-performance variant. 3.0 EcoBoost V6 making 418 horsepower, Fox internal bypass shocks, 37-inch tires, and aggressive aero. The Raptor competes with the Jeep Wrangler 392 (with Hemi V8) and other extreme off-road variants. On WhipJury, Bronco submissions are increasingly active. Raptor and Wildtrak variants reliably do well. Lifted Broncos with various aftermarket modifications appear regularly.
