BMW
Retro-styled V8 roadster (2000-2003). S62 V8, aluminum body, a modern classic worth a fortune.
The BMW Z8 is a limited-production retro roadster inspired by the 1950s 507. Built from 2000 to 2003, it paired a hand-built aluminum body with the S62 5.0 liter V8 from the E39 M5, making around 400 horsepower through a 6-speed manual. Only around 5,700 were produced. Designed by Henrik Fisker, the Z8 was a halo car that also featured in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. Its combination of timeless styling, M5-derived V8 power, and rarity has made it a serious modern collectible with rising values. On WhipJury, the Z8 is an extremely rare and prized submission.
