What is Greddy?

Trust Co., Ltd. - Japanese tuning company famous for turbochargers, intercoolers, intake manifolds, and the iconic Greddy Type-RS blow-off valve.

Greddy (officially Trust Co., Ltd. in Japan, sold as Greddy in North America) is a Japanese tuning company founded in 1977 by Hideo Niinimi (formerly an engineer at Honda). The brand has been a major presence in JDM tuner culture for nearly 50 years, producing turbocharger systems, intercoolers, intake manifolds, blow-off valves, exhausts, and various other performance parts.

The Greddy Type RS BOV is one of the most iconic aftermarket blow-off valves in tuner history, alongside the HKS SSQV. The two valves are often compared, with each having distinct sound character and engineering approach. Greddy turbocharger kits for popular JDM platforms (RB26, 2JZ-GTE, 4G63T) have been benchmarks since the 1990s.

Greddy has been particularly active in motorsport, with the Greddy Performance Products entry team competing in time attack and drift events globally. The brand has also been associated with iconic tuner cars including various R34 GT-Rs and Supras prepared by the company.
