The 2027 Chicago Auto Show runs February 13 through February 21, 2027, at McCormick Place in Chicago. It's the 119th edition of a show first staged in 1901, and the show says it has been held more times than any other auto show in North America.

Tickets go on sale in late 2026, and the show has already published its prices.

The public run is Saturday, February 13, to Sunday, February 21, nine days that include two full weekends. Presidents' Day falls on Monday, February 15, so the first weekend is a long one. McCormick Place is at 2301 South King Drive, on the lakefront south of downtown, with paid parking in the attached garages.

Admission is $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors 62 and older, $15 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under with a paying adult. You can buy online or at the box office, but McCormick Place is cashless, so tickets have to be paid for with a credit or debit card.

There are two discounts so far. Participating new-car dealers that belong to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association hand out coupons for $5 off weekday adult admission. Wednesday, February 17, is First Responders and Military Appreciation Day, with free entry for police, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and veterans or active-duty military who show a badge or ID. Their guests get a voucher for $5 off adult admission. Discounts apply only to full-price adult tickets and can't be combined.

Daily hours for 2027 haven't been posted yet.

Chicago leans on scale and hands-on attractions. The show runs indoor test tracks and outdoor test drives, so you can ride in or drive new models instead of just looking at them.

The show lists three other attractions. Chi-Town Alley is an exhibit about Chicago's own car culture and the groups behind it. Overlanding Chicago shows off specialty off-road vehicles and gear. The Family Zone is set up for kids. First Look for Charity, a separate ticketed preview, comes before the public opening.

Chicago is more of a shopping show than a world-premiere show, which helps if you want to compare cars you might actually buy side by side. The midweek days between the two weekends, including the February 17 discount day, should be the calmest.
