La Voiture Noire is a unique one-off Bugatti, a coachbuilt tribute to the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic and one of the most expensive new cars ever sold.
Unveiled in 2019, La Voiture Noire (The Black Car) is a singular, bespoke Bugatti created to honor the iconic pre-war Type 57 SC Atlantic, particularly the lost example once owned by Jean Bugatti. Only one was built, reportedly selling for well over 11 million dollars before taxes.
Built on Chiron underpinnings, it features a completely unique, flowing all-black carbon fiber body with a dramatic dorsal spine and six exhaust outlets. Beneath the skin sits the familiar 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 producing around 1,500 horsepower.
As a true one-off coachbuilt creation, La Voiture Noire represents the pinnacle of Bugatti's bespoke ambitions and stands among the most exclusive cars in the world.
