Saturn Relay: The Crossover Minivan
The Relay was Saturn's only minivan, a crossover-styled people-mover that was the brand's family-hauler entry.
Produced from 2005 to 2007, the Relay was Saturn's minivan, part of GM's crossover sport van family that included the Chevrolet Uplander and Buick Terraza. It featured SUV-like front styling intended to soften the traditional minivan image.
The Relay offered V6 power, available all-wheel drive, and family-friendly features like available rear entertainment. However, its long-nosed crossover styling and the declining minivan market limited its appeal.
The Relay was Saturn's short-lived attempt at a family minivan, remembered as a modest entry that did not match the success of dedicated minivan rivals.
