Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster: The Grenadier as a Pickup
The Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster is a four-door pickup version of the Ineos Grenadier, introduced in July 2023. It stretches the Grenadier's wheelbase by 12 inches to fit a bed that carries up to 1,680 pounds.
Ineos added 305 mm, or 12 inches, to the Grenadier's wheelbase to make room for the Quartermaster's bed, which has a maximum payload of 760 kg, about 1,680 pounds. Its towing capacity is 3,500 kg, or about 7,700 pounds, the same as the SUV.
The rest is Grenadier: boxy bodywork on a steel ladder chassis, beam axles with long-travel coil springs at both ends, and BMW inline-six power, all built at Ineos' plant in Hambach, France. The Quartermaster went on sale in the United States even though light trucks built outside North America face a 25% import tariff there, the so-called chicken tax.
